Timeline Visualizer

Updates

We improve Timeline Visualizer nearly every day. New features and fixes ship each morning — here is what changed.

Oct 15, 2026

  1. New map engine and new Pro extras. The map is now drawn from our own map server (vector tiles, no third-party tile requests, about a fifth of the data per video). Pro adds place names in your language (Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese or English), a "no labels" clean map, and two more styles: Grayscale and Black. Pro also has a 7-day one-tap refund now — no email needed. Read more

Sep 27, 2026

  1. Export guide rebuilt: iPhone steps first, real screenshots, where the exported file is saved and how to find it, how to move it to a computer, and links to the fix for each problem. iPhone exports can be named Timeline.json or location-history.json — both work. Read more

Sep 14, 2026

  1. New free option: Hide dates. The line under the title shows "Day 3" instead of the calendar date, and the recap card drops its dates — distances stay. Find it under Advanced, next to the privacy zone.
  2. New guide: Google Maps Timeline — how it works, how to turn it on and view it, why it stops recording, auto-delete and backup, and two ways to see it on a computer. Also in Japanese. Read more

Aug 28, 2026
